2024 PEAK SEASONS

PACKAGE INCLUDES

• Scheduled return ground transfer from Tawau airport to Semporna jetty.

• Scheduled return boat transfer from Semporna jetty to Borneo Divers Mabul Resort.

• Full board meals (3 meals daily with light snacks and free flow of coffee/tea and cordial juices except carbonated or alcoholic drinks) except for arrival and departure days.

Diving package:

(i) 3 boat dives a day with dive guide (except for arrival and departure days) and unlimited jetty house reef dives without guide.

(ii) There will be no boat dive on arrival and no diving on departure day.

Snorkeling package:

(i) 3 boat snorkeling a day (except for arrival and departure days) with guide and unlimited jetty snorkelling without guide.

(ii) Life jacket will be provided without extra charge.

PACKAGE EXCLUDES (to be paid at the resort)

• Diving and snorkeling equipment

• Tourism tax @ RM 10 per room per night (applicable to non-Malaysians)

IMPORTANT NOTES

• Surcharge of 40% will be imposed on top of the package price for single room and has to follow the scheduled land and boat transfers with other guests.

• Child from 3 to 11 years old is to pay 50% from the snorkeling package rate (must occupy same room with 2 adults)

• Child 2 years old and below is free of charge (only pay jetty fee)

ISLAND HOPPING TRIP (Bohey Dulang/Mantabuan/Sibuan)

Island hopping tour is inclusive in the Non-Sipadan Snorkeling Package with minimum 3 nights stay and minimum 4 adult in a group. Each person only needs to pay RM 28 & RM 70 (for non-Malaysian) being the Conservation and Hiking Fees as well as the Hiking Guide Fee @ RM 50 per Hiking Guide. Each Hiking Guide can bring 6 persons.

GROUP BOOKING SPECIAL

For Sipadan package, 9 full paying guests + 1 tour leader (FOC). The FOC tour leader only needs to pay a miscellaneous fee which includes Sipadan permit fee and jetty fee.

Important note for SIPADAN TRIP

(i) Sipadan Island will be closed for diving or snorkelling from 1st to 30th November every year starting for conservation purpose. This may be subject to change under their discretion.

(ii) Each diver with one day Sipadan permit can only do 2 dives daily.

(iii) Only divers with minimum Advanced Open Water level certification are allowed to dive at Sipadan.

*No diving on check out day. In order to follow the no diving 24 hours before flying, please book your flight after 1600 hours.

HOW TO GET TO MABUL

• You will need to fly to Tawau from Kota Kinabalu or Kuala Lumpur.

• 90 minutes by land from Tawau Airport to Semporna jetty or Semporna jetty to Tawau Airport depending on the traffic flow.

• 45 minutes to 1 hour by boat from Semporna jetty to Borneo Divers Mabul Resort or Borneo Divers Mabul Resort to Semporna jetty depending on the weather condition.

Arrival

Land transfer from Tawau to Semporna 0830/1030 hours

Boat transfer from Semporna to Mabul Island 1000/1230 hours

Departure

Boat transfer from Mabul Island to Semporna 1100/1330 hours

Land transfer from Semporna to Tawau airport 1200/1430 hours

*Please book flight arriving Tawau by 1030 hours and departing Tawau after 1700 hours.
