Package includes:

• Three (3) nights’ accommodation based on the chosen package

• Breakfast (basic buffet style that we outsource to a local restaurant)

• PADI Open Water Diver course (aka OWD - including certification if mastery is achieved)

• PADI eLearning (online study), logbook, dive equipment rental

• This course is performance based and finishing times may vary due to individual

achievements. Four (4) training days are included in the package. Add-on charges of MYR 300.00/day apply should a student diver need an extra day to complete the course.

• Students must arrive with a morning ferry and depart with an afternoon ferry on the last day to have enough time to complete the course!

Typical itinerary:

• Day 1: Arrival by early afternoon, theory quick assessment, equipment explanation, briefing, first dive from pool/shore

• Day 2: Two dives from pool/shore

• Day 3: Two dives from pool/shore

• Day 4: Two dives from the boat (if time permits), certification, departure in the afternoon

Course Prerequisites:

• There will be watermanship tests:

- Swim for 200m without aids, or snorkel for 300m with fins and snorkel only

- Float/thread water for 10 minutes without aids

- Learn to skin dive

Leisure Diving (Fun Dive) Packages include:

Diving prerequisites:

• Must show valid proof of scuba diving certification

• B&J Refresher dive is mandatory for divers with less than 20 logged dives who have not been diving within the past 12 months. Option to convert one of the included boat dives to a B&J Refresher Dive at a surcharge of MYR 50.00, or to add the B&J Refresher as an additional dive at a surcharge of MYR 160.00

RESERVATION & BOOKING

• Reservations are only guaranteed once confirmed by us via email and deposit has been

received

 

PAYMENT TERMS

• Deposit of MYR 500.00 per person required after invoice has been issued

• Balance to be received 30 days before arrival of your guests

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

• Initial deposit:                                                     Non-refundable

• From 29 to 15 days before arrival of guests:     50% of the trips full price forfeited, balance

                                                                             will be refunded (excl. bank/finance charges)

• From 14 to 8 days before arrival of guests:       70% of the trips full price forfeited, balance

                                                                             will be refunded (excl. bank/finance charges)

• 7 days or less before arrival of guests:              100% of the trips full price forfeited

 

UNUSED SERVICES

• There will be no refund if your guests should decide to not utilize the dives/services included in the package

 

TRANSPORTATION

• Ferry tickets are best booked online via www.bluewater.my or via www.cataferry.com

• The destination is called ABC or Air Batang in their system

• Ferries to Tioman run either from Mersing or Tanjung Gemok

• The ferry ride to Air Batang (ABC) will take around 2 ½ hours.

• Ideally guests take a morning ferry and return on the final day with a ferry in the afternoon
